Ally is gay smash

If someone had told us that Red, one of the major characters in Rovio’s Angry Birds franchise, might acquire just proven himself a gay ally, we’d have been very skeptical.

Angry Birds first came onto the gaming scene in 2009, with Rovio daring to ask the question: what would you get if you combined steamed birds that you could chuck at things, all to protect and store their eggs? Good, that would be Angry Birds, and it quickly propelled into being one of the most popular mobile games in the earth soon after its launch.

Lauper has always asserted that she originally became involved in the fight for gay rights because her sister Ellen is a lesbian, but throughout the years she has proven herself to be one of our greatest allies… time and ti

We need to be aware of the obstacles and the barriers in the way of some people on their journey.  We need to be aware of the impact of prejudice and discrimination.
