We loved our holiday to the Yaeyama Islands and can certainly attest to the world-class diving here. However, don't appear here expecting a same-sex attracted scene, as there is none! We recommend staying in Tokyo for that or even heading to Taiwan, which is not that far away. The Yaeyama Islands is a destination for gay travellers in Japan to advance to unwind, whilst also experiencing the natural beauty of the Japanese jungle, unspoiled beaches and pristine reefs.
