Anyone is welcome to register to contest at the Gay Games - you don't hold to be a member of the LGBT collective to take part.
It's the most inclusive international multi-sports event in the nature, with Paris 2018 - the 10th edition - beginning on Saturday evening with the opening ceremony at Stade Jean-Bouin, the home of Stade Francais.
Thereafter, over 10,000 athletes will battle it out for medals in 36 sports, each with a range of competitions, categories and disciplines that best fit the Paris Games slogan, 'All Equal'.

The Gay Games were created in 1982 in San Francisco. Held every four years in the world’s biggest cities, they aim to fight every caring of discrimination through sport, but also enable a wider public than just professional athletes to reside the Olympic dream.

Under the high patronage of the Presidency of the French Republic, the Gay Games are held in partnership with the City of Paris, the Île-de-France Region and the Ministry of Urban Affairs, Youth and Sport. They are supported by 26 national sporting federations.

Gay Games in Paris, 2018: a historic first for French tourism

This summer Paris will host the 10th edition of the Homosexual Games, the world’s largest sports and cultural event uncover to all. With sport organism a medium for togetherness and inclusion, the Gay Games are OPEN TO ALL and offer everyone the opportunity to participate in their own way.
As athletes, artists, supporters, spectators, donors, volunteers, conference participants, sponsors, or simply anyone interested in this project, everyone has a role to engage at the Gay Games and help make things happen.
