The Russian launched the bizarre legal claim for one million rubles (£12,000) after an life with crypto-currency GayCoin.
He said the change in his sexuality came after receiving an app payment with the curency.
That payment came with a note reading: "Don't judge until you try."
According to the Moscow Times , he wrote in his submission: "I thought, indeed, how can I judge something without trying it? And decided to try homosexual relationships .
"I can say after the channel of two months that I’m mired in attachment with a member of my own sex and can’t get out."
He went on: “I have a steady boyfriend and I don’t know how to explain it to my parents.
"After receiving the aforementioned message, my life has changed for the worse and will never be normal again.”
He went on: “Apple pushed me towards homosexuality through manipulation. The changes have caused me moral and mental harm.”

A Russian man has launched a lawsuit against Apple over claims an iPhone app turned him gay.
The man, identified only as D. Razumilov, accuses the American tech giant of encouraging him to experiment with same-sex relations.
The claim stems from an alleged incident involving “GayCoin” crypto-currency.
Mr Razumilov claims he downloaded an Apple app for cryptocurrency payments to his iPhone, but instead received 69 GayCoins from an unknown sender.
Bitcoin and Gaycoin are both a form of the virtual money system known as cryptocurrency.
